Road Trip To Nyungwe National Park Via Culture Corridor
In the morning, you will be picked by your drive guide who will transfer you to Nyungwe National Park via Culture Corridor to visit King’s Palace Museum and Ethnographic museum. The King’s Palace is a beautifully-crafted thatched dwelling shaped like a beehive, a reconstruction of the traditional royal residence. You will also see the long-horned Inyambo cattle, descended from the king’s herd and modern palace where King Mutara Rudagigwa resided until he passed away in 1959. It now serves to display Rwanda history from the 15th Century. Ethnographic Museum in Huye now houses one of Africa’s finest ethnographic collections. Seven galleries display historical, ethnographic, artistic and archaeological artifacts accompanied by visual aids, giving visitors a rich insight into the Rwandan culture. Proceed to Nyungwe for overnight at the lodge.

Chimpanzee Trekking And Canopy Walk
This morning will go for an unforgettable experience with the chimpanzee. After an early breakfast, meet the park guides and rangers and head in the jungle in search of the chimpanzee adventure in Nyungwe National Park. It is challenging to keep up with the chimpanzee as they keep moving, making noise, grooming, eating or napping but with with the guidance of the park guide you will enjoy interacting with them closely. You will proceed to Uwinka Park reception for lunch and later embark on a canpy walk away. Suspended 70 meters above the canopy forest, the canopy walkway provides amazing views across the forest and sighting of some wildlife in the canopy like monkeys and birds. Return to the lodge for overnight at the lodge

Nyungwe Forest offers an extensive network of scenic trails for hikers of any level. There is an extensive network for hiking trails to choose from. Hiking in Nyungwe Forest offers shorter options such as the canopy walkway, hikes around Kamiranzovu Swamp, karamba trail, umugote trail, Ngabwe, Ndambarare Waterfall and Irebero trails. For those who like to challenge their stamina Imbaraga, Uwinka, Muzimu, Isumo waterfall and Bigugu trails are idea. Return at the lodge for evening at relaxation or tea picking experience.
