Drive To Musanze-Twin Lakes
Meet your guide at 8am and journey approximately 3.5 hours through beautiful majestic hills to arrive in Musanze. Have your lunch and later proceed to the Twin Lakes Burera and Ruhondo. With their blue water surrounded by Virungas provide a spectacular backdrop view; a boat cruise rewards you with cool breeze, mesmerizing views and bird-watching.

Dian Fossey Tomb Hike And Drive To Kigali
Through her 18 years of research, Dian Fossey raised awareness of their vulnerability and promoted conservation initiatives, including setting up the Karisoke Research Centre in Rwanda. Tragically in 1989, she was found murdered at her research station.
After breakfast, you will report to the park reception at 7am for briefing. At 8am you drive to the base of the Mount Bisoke where the trekking. Accompanied with a park guide, you will hike through dense bamboo and hagenia forest en route and, if you are lucky, you may spot golden monkeys jumping through the trees. At 2967m the Dain Fossey tomb trail will break off from the Mount Bisoke hiking trail and continue to hike towards Mount Karisimbi, going through a beautiful stretch of Hygenia Hypericum forested zone. On reaching the site you will be able to see Fossey’s grave, lying next to her is the grave of her favorite gorilla, Digit, along with a number of other gorillas killed by poachers. From here, descent to the starting point and go for lunch before proceeding to proceed to Cyanika broader. After clearing migration papers we will continue to Mgahinga National Park for overnight.

Mt Muhabura Hike
Mount Muhabura is an extinct volcano at the border of Rwanda, Uganda and one of the Virunga Mountain Chain. Muhabura is the country’s 3rd tallest mountain around 4,127 meters after Rwenzori and Mt Elgon. It is one of the steepest and hardest to climb among the Virunga Mountains. After an early breakfast, head to the park reception for registration and briefing about history and hiking Mt Muhabura . You will then embark on you hiking experience. The hike is divided into two stops (each with a hut) before reaching the summit. The first stop is at 3116 meters above sea level and the second one being at 3855 meters above sea level. The peak of the climb is at 4,127 above sea level which rewards you with the breathtaking views of the others Volcanoes and the Twin Lakes of Ruhondo and Burera. Return to the lodge for evening at relaxation

Batwa Experience And Lake Bunyonyi
Batwa pygmies of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park are a fascinating group of people with unique traditions. They are a hunter-gatherer tribe that has lived side-by-side with the wildlife of this ancient park for thousands of years. Hike in the forest with the batwa and see how to lived and hunted, you will learn about fire making, honey harvest and burial rituals and more. After the encounter with the Batwa, you will go for lunch and later drive to Lake Bunyonyi for a breathtaking canoe ride on the second deepest Lake in Africa.
Lake Bunyonyi has been named one of the safest lakes in Africa; it has no crocodiles, hippos, or risk of bilharzia. The lake encircles 29 islands, each overflowing with stories, Akampene, Bwama, and Njuyeera being the famous. Legend has it that it was considered shameful to be unmarried and pregnant in Uganda. Therefore, the head of the family, usually the father, would take an unmarried, pregnant woman to inhabited Akampene in a canoe and leave her there to die from either hunger or drowning in their attempt to swim home.
